Venture Training
     The Venturing Leadership Skills Course (VLSC) was created to help teach young adults the attitudes and skills that good leaders demonstrate. Practicing and mastering these skills will help enable Venturers to have positive leadership experiences. VLSC is a series of leadership modules divided into four categories: Vision, Communication, Organization and Synergism. Each module is introduced by an activity and followed by reflection. This training is not just for Crew Officers but is designed to be taught to ALL Venturers in the crew.

 

Highlights:Open to all registered Venturers (crews)

Registration: -- $7 by April 24th. Includes a cracker barrel and patchVLSC: (Late registration will have patches mailed to their unit.)

May 1 & 2, registration, dinner and camp set up at 5:30 - 7:00pm.

Training begins Friday at 5 pm. Training will be completed Saturday at 4:00pm

Location: Rock Creek RV Park—Jean Turn Baugh Pavilion

Crews will be on their own for dinner Friday night, Breakfast and lunch on Saturday

Each Crew needs to have

Camp Site (bring your own gear; bag, tent etc…)

                                                                 Two deep leadership:  In attendance for the weekend.

Overnight Camping Tour permit
